From the North
Take Rte 24 South into Portsmouth – Take Exit 1 (Turnpike Avenue) – at end of exit turn right and go under over pass – Entrance to school is next left.
From the South
Take Rte 138 North into Portsmouth – Look for Clements Supermarket on the right hand side – Go to Next light (Bank of Newport will be straight ahead) – Bear Left onto Turnpike Avenue – Entrance to school is approximately 1/4 mile on the right.
From 95 North or 95 South: -Take Exit #8 (from the north) #8A (from the south) -Go right off the ramp and proceed to major traffic light/ intersection (Dunkin’Donuts on right) -Go straight through light for about 1 1/2 miles to next light -Take left at light onto Middle Road -Follow less than a mile over highway overpass -Take your immediate right onto Avenger Drive SOCCER-FIELD HOCKEY-FOOTBALL-BASEBALL-Park in lot straight ahead at the bottom of the hill SOFTBALL-TENNIS -Take a left at bottom of hill after “the rock” -Follow road in back of school to courts and field VOLLEYBALL-WRESTLING-BASKETBALL -Bus drop off around circle in front of school
Follow Warwick Neck Avenue for 1.9 miles
Turn right onto Narragansett Bay Avenue
Follow Narragansett Bay Avenue for a 1/2 mile – the Golf Course will be on your left
Make a left onto Ronaele Drive
This is the entrance to Warwick Country Club
Tiverton Tennis Courts
195 East 24 South. Take the Fish Rd. Exit and at the end of the ramp go left. Travel the length of Fish Rd. and when you come to the end (you have to go either left or right) go left onto Bulgarmarsh Rd. You will travel to a solid light and go left onto North Brayton Rd. and the school will be about 400yds. up the road on the right. Come into the student parking lot (your second entrance into the school) and the courts will be right in front of you.
From Route 95
Exit at Route 37 East (Exit 14 East). Exit off of Route 37 onto Post Road South (Route 1 South). Stay on Post Road up to the intersection of Airport Road (about one mile). Go left onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road to intersection with Warwick Avenue (Hoxsie 4-Corners). Take a right onto Warwick Avenue. Follow Warwick Avenue several miles up to merge with Oakland Beach Avenue (Warwick Avenue forks to left, Oakland Beach Avenue to the right). This is just past major shopping plaza on the right (Super Stop and Shop, etc.). Bear right onto Oakland Beach Avenue. School entrance is just down on the left.
From North/South
From Route 95 North/South: Take Exit 10A/10 onto Rte 117 East. Follow the signs for Rte. 117 East through Apponaug. From the Lockwood Condominium site (on the right), proceed on Rte. 117 East to Wildes Corner (Herb’s Sunoco on the right, Citizens’ Bank on the left and a car dealership in the center). Stay to the right and the school is 1/2 mile on the left.
From Route 95 South, take exit 10B. At the second light, (the office building), take a right. Once you enter the Toll Gate Complex, continue up the hill and take the first right. You will pass by the front of Toll Gate. At the end of the road, take a right. Winman Junior High School is on the left. For tennis, take a left and come up the hill. The tennis courts are on the right of the traffic island.For freshman basketball, continue to the gym at the rear of the building.For boys’ lacrosse field, park at rear of school and walk UP the hill next to beige storage shed. FROM 95 north/south take exit 5A to Route 3. Take left onto RT # 3 north. School is one mile on right. From South County or Newport take Route 102 north to Route 3. Take right onto Route 3 north. School is one mile on right.
